My Son's Story

My son rented a room in the basement (student housing) of 5262 Beeler Street from Ms. Zhongxin (Cindy) Sun (412-925-3809) and Philip Koopman in August 2023. In November 2023, my son notified Ms. Sun of a possible rat infestation. Ms. Sun remained unresponsive over the next few months despite several attemps to have this resolved. My son r
My son rented a room in the basement (student housing) of 5262 Beeler Street from Ms. Zhongxin (Cindy) Sun (412-925-3809) and Philip Koopman in August 2023. In November 2023, my son notified Ms. Sun of a possible rat infestation. Ms. Sun remained unresponsive over the next few months despite several attemps to have this resolved. My son returned to his room uon January 14, 2024 after the break only to find rat feces/urine all over his posessions, the bed, etc. My son had to find another place to live and the landlords now REFUSE to return his security deposit.
We will be reporting them shortly to the Enforcement Code Agency for their numerous violations.
